To understand what conditions the JRSM thrives under, we took data from a few of the creeks with known healthy populations. Taking this data gives us a better understanding of the JRSM and its ideal habitat and helps us identify what other rivers might be hospitable. Finding other compatible rivers offers the opportunity to start a new population of mussels and further revive the endangered species.
